The weeping woman at the loch is the ghostly end of the bargain legend, and both versions come from the same modern tourist sources. There is no folklore collection I know of that gives an earlier telling. Where the Wikipedia list notes a creature at Assynt, it does not describe it, and I have not tied it to Eimhir.
