The Theatre Royal stands in Thames Street, Windsor, below the castle. Berkshire History's long Windsor list records that a young girl named Charlotte died in a fire there in 1908.
Her ghost is said to haunt the rebuilt theatre on the same site. The entry gives no detail of what she does or who has seen her.
