The Grey Nurse of Calderglen House, Blantyre

This is a second-hand account, passed on in an email years later, and no other source was found. The detail that the owners did not know of the 1884 death until told is what makes the account interesting, though it is offered by a relative with an interest in the family and by nobody who was present. Calderglen is now a residential rehabilitation centre, so the pin is set on Blantyre in general.
