The Culbokie Sheep Kills, 2002

Culbokie and the Culbokie to Fortrose road, Black Isle

September and October 2002

Fran Lockhart's note on the first witness says he seemed credible and that he had seen another similar animal in the 1970s near Loch Carron but had not told anyone. The farmer said he rather liked the idea of a large predator but worried for his stock. The sheep investigation is the most detailed field examination in the Easter Ross reports, though it does not identify the animal.
