The Woman Bitten by a Large Cat at Drumnadrochit, 1976

Hillside at Drumnadrochit

Summer 1976

The compiler of the archive noted that the description of colour, coat pattern and ear tufts suggests a lynx. An escaped or released lynx would fit the 1927 reports and later captures. The scar gives the report more weight than most, but there was no examination of the animal.
