Spirited Isle reports that, alongside the stories of Maeve Roe and the kitchen, the ghost of an English army captain who was hanged at the castle is said to walk its halls, and that a woman in white was once reported to have appeared on the cliff edge each day at sunset, looking out to sea. The woman in white may be a version of the Maeve Roe story. No names or dates are given.
