The case is one of the best documented poltergeist cases in Scotland because professional people gave statements soon afterwards, and the local Alloa Journal ran an article on 2 December 1960. Owen's own conclusion is a view, not an established fact, and other explanations were not ruled out by everyone who looked at it. Sources differ on whether the house was a brother's or an aunt's, so I have said relatives. The pin is set for Sauchie, not the house, which is a private home.
