It starts at Threave Garden near Castle Douglas and the Loch of Edingham near Dalbeattie, then goes by Auchencairn and Dundrennan's Buckland Glen to Kirkcudbright, ending at MacLellan's Castle and Silver Craigs Park, where Elspeth M'Ewen was burned in 1698.
