The Gryphon at 41 Colston Street is a candlelit pub in the Old City, close to Christmas Steps.
The Spooky Bristol ghost walk guide says it was built beside the old Roman wall, and that patrons have reported spectral hands brushing their backs and dark figures flitting across the windows.
There are no dates, names or incidents, and no second source was found, so the entry is dubious and stays as a thin lead. It is included to complete the Old City pub trail.
