The listing says the hospital, now demolished, was haunted by several shades. The Flincher was said to haunt the southern part, chasing people out with a loud shriek and a crash. A one-legged soldier walked the north end of the main corridor and could make babies cry if he appeared in the maternity ward.
Reports were said to be most common on Mondays. The hospital was built as a memorial to Canadian soldiers, though the listing gives no dates for the hauntings.
The hospital no longer stands, so nothing can be checked on site. It is kept as a traditional staff tale and the pin is on the Cliveden estate.
