She scooped up the dog and ran indoors, and the cat leapt into the fields and vanished. The two Big Cat Trust pages disagree slightly on the date, giving 9 August in one and 10 August in another. Police told the paper there had been other sightings, including one in the main street of Glenfarg, and that chickens had gone missing. The Fortean Times noted the description was of a lynx.
