The Black Cat Stretching at Harburn

Also known as: Beast of West Lothian

Harburn, near West Calder

17 February 2002

Two witnesses in a parked car saw the cat descend from a field into a woodland area. They judged its size as that of a Labrador dog because it stretched its paws on top of a fence no more than fifteen metres away. The contributor, Mike Inglis, noted the source was a clipping he had been sent and was uncertain of.

The pin is on Harburn and is approximate.
