Nun's Quarter is a townland on the Ards peninsula, just north of Kircubbin on the western shore of Strangford Lough. The Spirited Isle directory records that in 1970 a group of friends in the area saw the figure of a headless nun floating above the ground. She was there and then she was gone, and the group did not stay to investigate.
