The Water-Horse Killed at Loch Fada

Loch Fada, foot of the Storr, Trotternish (position approximate)

Told before 1900

The note is brief and gives no date or names. It sits beside Campbell's other accounts of Highland water-horses, including a story from Raasay in which a smith killed one with hot irons in a hut, and the nine children of Sunart carried into a loch on a horse that grew longer.

It is kept as a one-sentence local tradition.
