Hauntings

The hooded figure of Keston Ponds

Keston Ponds, Keston Common

Undated, reported by 2022

Keston Ponds lie on Keston Common on the southern edge of the borough. The report comes from a Spooky Isles round up of Bromley hauntings by Les Hewitt, which describes an entity seen hovering over the ponds clad in a black hooded robe or cap and wearing a glowing belt.

The witnesses were a pair of schoolgirls on their way home from school. The article gives no date, no names and no description beyond the clothing and the glow, saying only that it happened a number of years before it was written.

This is a single undated report with no named witnesses, so it is tagged as such. The pin is set at the ponds on the common.
