Hauntings

The figure in the School Road car park, Hounslow

School Road, Hounslow

Undated, reported by 2010

The only source is a Ghosts UK forum correspondent quoted by Londonist. They described a neglected, run down car park on School Road where they felt a concentration of energy and saw a shadowy figure run away and vanish.

On another visit the same person saw a figure that looked like an Indian man with dark skin in a beige jacket. They said they had a feeling the man had been murdered in the car park, and thought the ghost did not react to them, which they took to mean a recording rather than a true spirit.

The murder idea is the witness's own feeling, with no record cited. This is a single anonymous forum report, tagged single report, and the pin is only the general position of School Road.

Spooky Isles adds that the car park stood for many years until it was replaced by flats in 2016, that local papers reported the ghost of a young Asian man in a brown jacket in 2004 and 2007, and that he is believed to have been chased by a gang and stabbed to death there. That account is a belief repeated by the article, not a documented killing, and the car park no longer exists, so the location is now a block of flats.
