The story is simple. Staff at the Portmeirion seconds china shop have been told by guests staying in the village that they saw somebody inside the shop well after it had shut for the evening. When the staff check, the shop has been locked and empty.
Nobody has suggested who the figure might be. The site of Portmeirion had an older house, Aber Iâ, and a ruined castle on the headland, Castell Deudraeth, but nothing links the sightings to either. It is recorded here as a minor, unexplained report.
