Packwood House housekeeper

Packwood House, Lapworth

Undated reports

Packwood House is a Tudor era house at Lapworth, now in the care of the National Trust.

The Haunted Hub lists it as haunted by a former housekeeper seen inspecting rooms late at night. Tourists are said to have reported items moving on their own and the sound of keys jingling. The attic is said to be avoided because of a heavy, oppressive feeling and sightings of a pale boy who died of fever.

The listing gives no names, dates or named witnesses and is the only source found, so this is a thin single report.
