The entry says that on a chilly December morning in 2012 a driver caught sight of a woman jogging in the middle of the road, wearing a bright red top and black jogging bottoms and smiling cheerfully. The driver passed her and glanced in the rear view mirror, and the jogger had vanished, with no pedestrians and no cars on the road behind.
The report is one line from a directory, with no named witness and no check of dashcam or local news. There is a more famous woman in white road ghost at Barrow Gurney along the same A38, which lies outside the city, so the two should not be confused.
