The Harris Boat and the Two Hanged Men

Broadford, Isle of Skye

Before 1703

They continued their voyage, but the wind turned and forced them into Broadford in Skye. There they found Sir Donald MacDonald holding a sheriff's court, with two criminals receiving sentence of death. The ropes and mast of that very boat were used to hang them.

Martin says he was told this by several people who had it from the boat's crew.
