Martin says there were many legends of this Amazon but he would not trouble the reader with them, so most of the tradition was not written down. The large shieling hut in the glen, later recorded as Taigh na Banaghaisgeich, the Amazon's House, was the place associated with her.
Northern Earth also notes that similar stories of a warrior huntress and the drowned land between the Outer Hebrides and St Kilda were told in Harris. Its author's own theories on a landform figure are speculation and are not used here.
