The Healing Stones of St Fillan, Killin

St Fillan's Mill, Killin

Tradition of the 7th-century saint; custom continuing

The saint is said to have founded the original mill on the spot. The tradition of the saint's healing power at Killin and Strathfillan was widespread, and a second site, a healing pool near Tyndrum, is recorded separately.

The Smith Art Gallery and Museum in Stirling also holds a chain from a healing pool at Killin. I have not confirmed current public access to the stones, which is why the access is marked unknown.
