The beggar saw a spectre in white climb on the bench and try to stretch out in the coffin, but it was too short, and the spectre vanished. He told the joiner in the morning that the coffin was too short for the body. The joiner laughed, measured the corpse again, and found that the coffin had to be enlarged. The story has no names and no fixed farm, and the coordinates show only the Loch Tay district.
