In 1626 the Church investigated her again for unacceptable healing and told her to stop practising in Perth. In 1628 she was practising again and was imprisoned in the Perth Tollbooth, and was released under a 1,000 pound bond paid by her son. She was not executed, partly because she was not accused of demonic practice or a pact with the devil. The Book of Perth of 1847 called her a very harmless and useful person. Scone Palace has used her name for Halloween events. Hallyburton and Gordon place her at Quarry Mill near Scone.
