This comes from a long poem that mixes history and invention, so the ghost is a literary episode and not a recorded sighting. The book quotes the fugitive's ride across the Earn at Dalreoch and the Muir of Auchterarder, and a scene in which Wallace hamstrings his exhausted horse at the Blackford rather than let the English have it. No independent record of a haunting at Gask Hall is given.
