The Holly Tree at Torr a Chuilinn

Torr a' Chuilinn, Kintail (position approximate)

Attributed to the 1600s; printed 1877

The second is that when Loch Shiel in Kintail shall become so narrow that a man can leap across it, the salmon will desert the loch and the river Shiel. Mackenzie says the loch was getting narrower at a particular point through the action of the water on banks and bottom, and he advised that a short lease of the salmon fishings would be prudent.

Both predictions are conditional and have no date attached, which makes them unfalsifiable. No source is given for either.
