The Elves of Dun Bhuirbh

Dun Bhuirbh, Lyndale, Skye (position approximate)

Told before 1900

He adds that in Skye the event is said to have occurred at Dun Bhuirbh, and that there are two places of the name, one in Lyndale and one in Beinn an Uine near Druimuighe above Portree. He gives their cry, a rhyme demanding to comb, card, tease and spin and to have a loom and water for fulling and more work.

The Skye location is uncertain between the two sites, and the pin sits near Lyndale.
