A house on Carrickblacker Road in Portadown was once reported to be haunted by a former resident. He said one room in the house was always unusually cold, even with the central heating on, and that his dogs would not go into it. Other claims were noises through the night, a constant sense of being watched and doors that opened and closed on their own.
The man said that on the day he left the property for good he saw the apparition of a small child run past him and vanish into a wall.
